ARGUS from FiSEC is currently the only cost-effective IT solution for continuous and complete online monitoring of fiber optic networks with effective protection of your data assets. ARGUS provides effective protection against data transfer tampering. Based on patented CODTR technology developed exclusively for FiSEC, the ARGUS system offers a number of advantages. Leader in Sensor Technology Data security, that means protecting data against loss or espionage, is of high priority for all members of our information society – for companies, as well as, for private persons. FiSec technology ensures this data security: It monitors fiber optical lines, detects damages and attempted espionage in real time, and localizes the incident precisely. The false alarm rate is extremely low. The detailed information enables the data line operator to react quickly and efficiently with countermeasures, e. g. sending maintenance personnel to the reported construction site‘s coordinates where the fiber line was damaged unintentionally and went unnoticed. This prevents the time-consuming and costly search for damages and allows rapid repairs. With some adaptations, the technology can be deployed for protecting pipelines against (un-)intended damages and thus for protecting the transport medium against leakages, which in turn protects the environment, too. Another possible application are high security fences, where the technology can be used for detecting intruders. Another promising FiSec product is a wireless sensor for detecting road traffic volume. The collected data can be supplied to a traffic management system and contributes to the optimization of the traffic flow. So far several prototypes have been installed in Meiningen, Germany and Odessa, Ukraine, all of which show excellent performance. The sales activities are being initiated currently. |
