neuroConn
Founded in 2005, neuroConn GmbH develops, manufactures and distributes devices that measure and stimulate brain activity. Customers around the world use the various devices in research institutes, neurological and psychiatric clinics, and doctors‘ offices. neuroConn devices that measure brain waves (electroencephalogram - EEG) are equipped with an internationally patented biosignal amplifier. They are also among the world‘s first “full band“ EEG equipment and have a wide range of applications. In particular, the devices are used for neurofeedback treatment and are a promising therapy for conditions, such as, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and epilepsy. Moreover, the devices can be used in all other situations when brain waves need to be recorded. Worldwide, neuroConn GmbH is a technological pioneer for brain stimulation. In 2009, the company introduced the world’s first CE-certified device for transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) to the market and today, holds the leading position in its market segment. The device applies a weak, well-adjusted current to the scalp and can be used for research and therapy of, for example, stroke, tinnitus, and migraine. The coveted CE-certificate guarantees the product’s conformity within medical device requirements. In 2010, just like 2009, neuroConn has experienced a significant increase in sales. |
